Before finding Free People, I could not have imagined that there could really be a brand I would connect in so many ways. Like it accurately resonates traits of my own personality such as femininity, freedom and courage. Free People, truly is the number one woman brand in bohemian fashion. I fell in love with it the minute I spotted it on the international shopping websites a few years ago. With the international brands becoming more and more accessible through various online retailers, I have been able to lay my hands on it ever since. The ever evolving bohemian brand finds its origin in the 1970s in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. You would find such creativity in each and every piece that it is actually hard to choose and such great quality at the same time. Free People will always remain one the most special brands for me as this brand brought out the fashionista inside of me like no other.
I am very excited to put up my first Free People dress here and I have captioned the post ‘intimately’ as that’s what the collection is called. I love dresses and especially when it comes in swingy silhouettes and flirty florals. Makes for such a refreshing day attire. Feeling pretty in pink and black, I am adding accessories that are subtle and yet fascinating. Like my suede boots with some jazz on the heels and this River Island large tote which can easily be taken from night to day or day to night. I must confess I have a thing for large totes and I have been collecting them in all colours. I don’t believe in accessorizing too much hence going with a subtle gold bracelet and a suede tie-up necklace. Chokers and tie up necklaces have been quite a trend and I find myself reaching for them time and again.
I know the look is pretty much my usual but I love it. This is me. A cute dress with the perfect add-ons. I believe in dressing for myself. Its extremely important that I like the look before the others approve it. Hence you will see a lot more of such cute dresses on my blog and hopefully more of Free People!
