Since I am trying to take fashion blogging so seriously, doing a photo shoot at Central Park New York seemed like a dream come true. Actually, Central Park itself is a dream. I’ll write about that in a separate post. The trip has been really tiring and I wasn’t sure how I was gonna find a photographer in the city. But the universe does work in strange ways and it turned out that my Air BnB host Samuel, besides having diverse talents, is a photographer too!
So here I am and the Sun’s out at the Central Park. I was stressed out for some reason. It was the anxiety, I guess. Samuel had a tough time trying to calm me down. It was a tough schedule for both of us. He had to be somewhere in a bit and I was already thinking about how I was gonna go home, change into the second outfit to be ready for the next photo shoot in the Meatpacking District. But Samuel’s dedication to his work was inspiring and he is totally responsible for helping me pull this one. I left the choice of spots entirely to him.
About the outfit: What can I say? Its Urban Outfitters! Store bought Urban Outfitters! I am excited to reveal that after shopping from their online space for more than three years now, I ran into their Fifth Avenue store like a kid who found its favourite toy. This trip was my first shopping experience in New York City and I had to shop the brand that I have loved so much for the last few years. This is a brand that truly turned me into a blogger coz I could relate to it so much. In this post, I am wearing my true style which can be best described as cute, feminine and very young girlish. I did combine it with my sturdy Mix No. 6 white combat boots that I got at an irresistible mark down from the Designer Shoe Warehouse. I have added a statement necklace by Carol Dauplaise also bought at a steal at Macy’s. Same with my Calvin Klein bag and bracelet stack. I will be writing a separate post on my shopping experience in NYC. So how is the look? Would love a feedback.
