This tank was a double win for me. I love velvet as much as I love the luscious teal. Gave the tank a very casual spin alongside my oversize distressed shorts. Its interesting to bring what normally is an evening wear into the daylight scene, something that I love experimenting with. Velvet has been popular the whole year and they have been seen in almost all forms. From slip dresses to even jump suits, the velvet is omnipresent and is available for any occasion. I am hoping to create multiple looks with this one. Bringing together different colours, particularly the striking slouchy boots in burgundy creates a very unique and casual look despite the opulence of velvet. Slouchy boots can be easily combined with anything casual and they deserve a flaunt with their distinctiveness. There has been a massive uprising of these making them a season must-have. With its casual appeal, mine gives a feeling of socks bundled up and attached to the shoes as it is crafted with thick fabric and leather. The slouchy boots and the velvet come together in quite a harmony. The oversize bag in denim laden with shimmer is another item I have been reaching for again and again. Once again, I confess my obsession with large bags. Completed the look with gold bracelets and large hoops. Lately big earrings have been my thing especially when my outfits are understated. My multi string necklace is an exact match of the tank and looks so cool. This look demonstrates how easily velvet fits into casual looks as much as it stands out at parties. Will bring in more and more!
